Works perfectly April 12, 2008
I'n not a fan of Adaptec products, yet they generally work well and as stated. I'm using this adapter in a low-profile computer attached to a 250-GB eSATA external disk. The adapter installed easily, and it appears to be fast and reliable. I'm using the external drive as JBOD, not RAID, but I'll bet the majority of people will use the adapter in this configuration. It's impossible to fault this device - I think you'd be satisfied. No issues after two months. Two ports allow for future expansion.
